Here are the regular features of this email newsletter:

Book Review. In this section I will attempt to entice you to read one of the books that I have found very helpful. I might also have to critique a book you should stay away from.

Bible difficulties. Here I will try to clear up some misunderstanding about a difficult passage or help resolve an apparent contradiction found in the Bible. Most of the info for this section will be taken from “When Critics Ask” and “When Cultists Ask”.
Both books are co-written by Norm Geisler and both are very handy to own.

Focus on the Fallacy. I will highlight one of the many informal fallacies that you will undoubtedly come across. When people defend what is false or attack what is true, they are forced into using faulty reasoning to defend their claim. It is critical that we, as followers of the Truth, learn to detect and expose fallacious assertions. We must also learn to avoid shoddy logic in our defence of the faith. Remember that sound logic is based on our immutable Creator’s revealed Mind. There is no basis for logic in a world that was formed by random chance. We honor God by being careful in our reasoning.

Objection to ponder. (or Apologetics practice) Here I will give you one of the common objections to Christianity but not give you an answer. Ask yourself how you would respond to this. Do some research and formulate a response. If you would like, share your response with the rest of us. We can help each other to be “always ready to give an answer”.

Quotes of the (Bi)Week. I will try and leave you with some thought provoking statements.

Articles. These are written by today’s leading apologist that will help you more clearly defend the faith.
